Okay, in my friend's profile there was a link that said something like "I made a slideshow of the pics from last weekened" or something like that - we had done something last weekend, and he took pictures, so I assumed it was real, since he's always making weird projects. So I clicked it and as I waited for it to load I was typing in an IM and I wasn't looking up, so when the screen that asked if I wanted to download the file popped up, I must have hit "y" or enter because it started downloading. I tried to open the slideshow document but it didn't work, so I deleted it.
About 2 minutes later I realized it was one of those stupid AIM viruses because the same link kept showing up in my profile, so another friend gave me a link to a page where you download something to get rid of all of the AIM viruses, it had worked for he and his sister, and I downloaded it, and it worked.
But now my computer is going really really slowly and certain things, like WordPerfect, can take minutes to load. Does ANYONE know what the problem is, or how it could be fixed?
