the xe783's were made FOR wal-mart by hewlett-packard. they are total and complete JUNK and a smart person would NEVER purchase one. i've been in the computer biz for 10 years, and not since the old packard-bell's have i seen such utter trash and garbage. if you know what's good for you, you'll steer clear of these junkers. in the past two weeks alone, i've worked on 14 of these crappy things. yes, i got them straightened out, but it took taking everything 'walmart' and 'hp' out of the stupid-junky things. if you'd like some sure-fire answers, and want to get that junk up and running as well as it possibly can run, contact me. otherwise, keep crying the blues because you're having so much trouble, and will continue to as long as you run the crap the way it came from wally-world. billystorm35@netscape.net
