Shopping Service

After an initial personal consultation, Installations Plus+ will shop the area retailers, then recommend to you the products that will best meet your individual needs. Upgrade and Repair

Has your PC stopped dead? Does it make funny noises? Is it too slow or always running out of memory? Let Installations Plus+ provide cost-effective upgrades (memory, hard-drive, CPU, modem, etc.) and repairs to put new power in your old PC. Call for an estimate and to arrange free pick up and delivery in our service area.

For your convenience or to shorten turn-around time, you may want to drop off your repair at our associated facility in Bayside, Queens.

Rob, Rick, and Manny, the principals at Doc Audio-Video will treat you with the courtesy you deserve and treat your repair with the expertise you expect.

P.S. As a courtesy to our clients, Installations Plus+ will pick up your "carry-in" audio or video repair, take it to Doc Audio-Video for service, and return it you at no additional charge. Naturally, for in-home service on console and projection TVs, you'll need to contact Doc Audio-Video directly and normal pick up and delivery charges will apply.

Software

Installations Plus+ specializes in customized relational databases, data conversion, and targeted mailing lists for business and industry.

  • We use Lotus Approach, Microsoft Access and Borland dBASE to make relational database applications that provide client invoicing, mailing lists, specialized forms and form-filling, case tracking, statistical and spreadsheet analyses. We offer a complete business package for the Tax Certiorari industry.
  • Have all the data you need, but it's in the wrong format? We can convert between formats and from older or unusual formats to current industry standards, such as DBF or comma-delimited.
  • Installations Plus+ currently produces a custom mailer, published monthly, of over-assessed homes sold recently in Nassau and Suffolk counties. The mailer provides a property record database with Zip+4 USPS-certified addresses that are printed on the client's choice of personalized brochures, form-letters, labels or envelopes.

Founded by a former university professor, Installations Plus+ is particularly sensitive to the need for pertinent, personalized training which empowers instead of punishes. Special training and tutoring accommodations are available.

Maintenance

Installations Plus+ offers complete periodic maintenance, adjustment, and cleaning services for PCs that can't be "off-line". Our service starts with the Proprietary Automated Maintenance Sequence (PAMS) we build into every PC we install. It continues on contract or on demand.

Extended Technical Support

Installations Plus+ provides extended technical support by letter, phone, fax, email and via scheduled site visits. Three levels of technical support are offered:

  1. Warranty Service
    Extended technical support is available for ninety days following paid product installation. Our Warranty Service covers minor adjustments and revisions, needed training not provided at the time of installation, and brief consultations on use and usage. There is no charge for Warranty Service.
  2. Demand Service Priority support may be purchased as required at any time after paid installation. Demand Service includes:
    1. Major revisions and modifications not specified at the time of purchase.
    2. Retraining, or training for extra personnel.
    3. Reworks and repairs necessitated by product misuse or abuse.
    Demand Service fees are set by the job or by the session; the minimum fee is $50.
  3. Contract Service
    Corporate clients and those with multiple products installed may prefer to budget an annual prepaid fee for unlimited minor revisions, adjustments, consultations and tutorial refreshers. Contract Service begins at $300 per annum.
